PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR ($3000-$4000/AWS/VB)ref: TT

$4K + AWS + VB + allowance

5 working days, Mon – Fri, normal office hours

Location: East

 

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead all levels of production staff (engineers, assistant engineers, senior technician and technician) in day-to-day operation, conduct daily roll-call, ensure timely update of labour-ticket by all staff and maintain high standard of staff discipline at the production floor.
  • Monitor production schedules and carry out capacity and resource planning; appraising staff performance; counselling; addressing internal and external customers’ complaints and problem solving. Ensure timely delivery of quality product.
  • Prepare and make daily report daily on production delivery status in daily production meeting, prepare monthly section’s performance report. Ensure all work instructions, procedures and all quality records are maintained.
  • Conduct job induction for new staff, and ensure OJTs are carried out in accordance with work instructions and training records are maintained timely. Ensure all cross-training and refresher training are conducted and training records maintained.
  • Ensure cleanroom protocols are always being observed, and air-particles counts and records maintained. Carry out continuous improvement in housekeeping. Maintain and enforce high level of cleanroom discipline and practices.
  • Conduct risk assessment and ensure safe work procedure is in place and strictly adhered to by all staff. Ensure quality system compliance and audit readiness at all time.
  • Carry out continuous improvement activities in areas of man- productivity, workflows, inventory management, implement poka-yoke and cycle-time reduction. The supervisor will also be expected to carry out any adhoc duties arranged by Manager or HOD.
  • Report any unsafe act or near miss safety incidence to the superior or safety committee

 

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in relevant fields or equivalent.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in contract manufacturing is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
