Responsibilities
- Lead a team involved in Sourcing, BOM control, Buying and Store functions.
- Negotiation and planning skill to negotiate with suppliers on pricing, schedule and quality matter.
- Technical skill to provide support for EOL or Long Lead time components.
- Train and guide Material staff to follow set of protocol developed for Material Department
- Cost effective component sourcing and buying to achieve company set objectives.
- Operate Material Department within Company budget.
- Represent company ISO committee and BizSafe Committee.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering.
- 5 years experience in Material and Purchasing
- Technical knowledge of components; specification with good costing estimation.
- Able to interpret Technical Data like Schematics Diagram, Components Specs etc.
