PROCESS ENGINEER ($3500-$4200/AWS/VB)ref: DA

$4200 + AWS + VB + allowance

5 working days, Mon – Fri, normal office hours

Location: West

Responsibilities

• Understands the basic and essential specifications and requirements of the assigned project and Industry Standard, Classification Society and Regulatory requirements.
• Prepares and marks up the PFD, P&ID, and process datasheets in accordance with design specification.
• Performs preliminary PSV set pressure calculations, Line sizing calculations, settle out calculations in accordance with alarm set points and design limitations.
• Performs verification of vendors’ information and perform necessary calculations (e.g. Scrubber level settings, strainer pressure drop) to determine if design requirements are met.
• Performs verification of General Arrangement drawings and mark up to highlight any discrepancies in design specifications (e.g. Vessels & exchangers nozzle allocation)
• Supports seniors to draft and consolidate other documents such as philosophies, study reports etc
• Work with various teams to develop a statement of work.
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Process engineering in oil and gas sector is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
