Responsibilities
- Lead the purchasing process and procedure, ensuring that processes comply with the Company and group standards, and regulatory requirements
- Work closely with the production planning team to ensure zero disruption to production and ensure smooth supply of materials
- Ensure over-stocking is minimized and that the inventory level is optimized
- Oversee and manage vendor relationship, negotiation, performance and contracts
- Support in month-end closing, year-end stock take, budgeting, forecasting, audits, administration and reporting
Requirements
- Degree in Business or equivalent
- Min 3 years of relevant working experience in the chemical industry
- Familiar with demand/supply planning and materials procurement process in the chemical industry
- Knowledge in SAP
