Location: Central
Responsibilities
- Process purchase requisitions timely and ensure that purchase orders are being issued to suppliers accordingly;
- Prepare and analyse data from the quotations received for freight/packing/delivery rates, and recommend appropriate solutions to achieve quality and efficiency;
- Monitor lapses/discrepancies and identify possible additional freight or packing charges incurred during the process of order fulfilment;
- Proactively monitor and follow up on pending orders and supplier purchase orders;
- Optimize the use of allocated resources, research and analyse the prevalent market trends and movements to grow business;
- Support the preparation of sales proposals or tender documents;
- Respond promptly to customer enquiries;
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Logistics Manager.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of work experience as an Order Management Executive or similar role;
- Freight knowledge preferred;
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Able to multi-task on daily operational responsibilities as well as project-related work in a deadline driven environment.
