Responsibilities
  • To assist Level 2 support and monitor/provide L1 troubleshooting support for any server or network alerts in all problem resolutions.
  • Maintaining proper documentation of operations inventories, processes, policies and procedures
  • Monitor the Company’s network (WAN, Satellite Network, VOIP network & Servers) and data center facilities (Generators, UPS, Air conditioning, Power Distribution, Fire Protection & Security) vigilantly to ensure no disruption to customer service operations
  • Perform Security CCTV monitoring and tape change based on tape rotation schedule
  • Responsible for updates and monitor incoming tickets for processing from the ticketing portal or via email and respond based on SLA
  • Responsible to maintain daily operation Network Management System (NMS)
  • Responsible to create and track trouble tickets to closure and perform technical troubleshooting in accordance to established troubleshooting procedures
  • Take immediate action to resolve all incidents reported and escalate to higher technical level when unable to meet the required resolution time or relevant targets and fulfilment of requests till closure by customers
  • To assist in other operational tasks as requested and keeping updated on product enhancements and liaising with end users and vendors on network implementation, requirements and maintenance support
Requirements
  • Degree / Diploma in IT / Computer Engineering or equivalent.
  • Possess the following certifications is advantageous:
    • ITIL Foundation V3 or above
    • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
    • Operating Systems
  • Knowledge of Scripting language and UNIX, Fibre Network, Transmission Network and IP Network is a plus.
  • Good knowledge on OSS platforms and Network Management System (NMS)
  • Good communications skill and experience in customer service.
