Networking Engineer (Routers / Proxy) ($5000+Allowance+Bonus) – Ref: SK

Salary Range: S$5000+Allowance+Bonus

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing new network solutions or improving the efficiency of current networks
• Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including firewalls, routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP to maximize network efficiency and security
• Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting
• Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases
• Producing Project Documentation including detailed architectural Diagram
• Determines appropriate standard testing routines or scripts; may test various voice or data equipment such as Root cause analysis of service outages, routers, switches, hubs or optical equipment, or multi-function switches, end offices, signaling transfer points, private branch exchanges (PBX), voice mail, and call management system, etc. for maintenance.

Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma or equivalent in Information Technology or similar qualifications
• Min. 2 year experience with Network  switching, routing, firewalls, wireless networking  or related experience
• Possess the relevant certification of Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) / Cisco Certified Network Profession (CCNP) is a big advantage 
• Familiar with proxy servers, switches, is a big plus.
• Organized, self-motivated, enthusiastic and proven rapid learning capability
