Network System Engineer ($5,000/AWS/VB) RC

Location: East

Responsibilities

• Installing and configuring software, hardware/networks
• Installing windows patches, application patches, antivirus definitions, etc
• Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues
• Ensuring security and efficiency of IT infrastructure
• Manage network servers and technology tools
• Upgrade system with new releases and models
• Develop, expertise to train staff on new technologies
• Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Information Technology
• Professional Certification in Cisco Certified Network Associate
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in system administration
• Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role
• Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
• Knowledge of System security (e.g., intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
