MECHANICAL ENGINEER ($3000-$4500/AWS/VB)ref: GD

$4500 + AWS + VB + allowance

5 working days, Mon – Fri, normal office hours

Location: North

Responsibilities

• Perform as a Mechanical Supervisor for Offshore Projects and reports to the Site Manager/Project Manager of the project.
• Supervise, organize and plan Mechanical activities to ensure smooth installation within the stipulated schedule.
• Updating and reporting project progress reports and plan for the one week look ahead of activities to be completed.
• Red Line Mark Up drawings to be done progressively and update engineering.
• Review technical drawings and advise mechanical engineering of any discrepancies before commencement of fabrication works.
• Perform MTO and update progressively to ensure proper control of material procurement and usage.
• Ensure that manpower is effectively deployed to deliver the construction activities timely.
• Follow-up of all fabrication and mechanical installations and inspections.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards is a plus.
• Flexible and proactive attitude.
