M&E QUANTITY SURVEYOR ($3000-$5000/AWS/VB)ref: BT

$5K + AWS + VB + allowance

5 working days, Mon – Fri, normal office hours

Location: North

Responsibilities

• Able to work on Tenders/Quotations independently, from preparation to submission.
• Responsible to Advise and Resolve Requests for equitable adjustment, contract disputes and contract claim with client/consultants and subcontractors.
• Able to Prepare and Monitor project cost budget, cash-flow for project, track changes in design/construction work, check variations and adjust budget projections accordingly.
• Able to Review and Advise the Project Manager on the cost impact for variation of project specification.
• Able to Source and Liaise with Site Personnel, Suppliers, Sub-contractors, Consultants and/or Architects for all project-related matters.
• Responsible for Progress Claims, Variation Orders, Final Accounts and Sub-contractor Progress Claims.
• Able to work closely with the project team and able to Analysis, Evaluation and Negotiation of quotations, so as to ensure timely award of sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Able to ensure timely finalisation of main contracts and sub-contracts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree/ Diploma/ Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical), Quantity Surveying or Facilities/ Building-related or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Well-versed in MS offices tools i.e. Words and Excel is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
