Responsibilities
- Provide maritime expertise in manage maritime safety associated with businesses operations and projects to ALARP as an Authorized Person in Maritime Safety
- Providing cargo custody expertise in transportation of chemicals safety, regulatory compliant and on specification
- Lead businesses in onboarding, training, and assurance activities in maritime safety and operations
- Participate in Management Reviews of vessel technical operators in region as SME for chemical tanker operations.
- Provide assurance of safe ports and berths across the region.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement in processes, procedures, Group requirements and industry practices.
- Lead incident investigations of high value learnings
- Provide maritime expertise to business in management of emergencies.
Requirements
- Minimum Degree/Diploma in relevant fields or equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of chemical shipping operations and ship/shore interface management and regulations and industry practices is a plus.
- Flexible and proactive attitude.
