Responsibilities
- Administer CICS in a CICSPlex environment.
- Tune CICS configuration to ensure CICS does not encounter storage shortages and/or any other system performance issues.
- Define and administer CICS system resources such as PCT, FCT and DB2 trans etc to support CICS applications in a CICSPlex environment.
- Provide proactive and automate monitoring of DB2 and CICS using tools to meet high availability standards in a operating environment.
- Conduct impact analysis, strategize, plan, and execute upgrade to new versions of CICS
- Apply regular maintenance and patching to resolve any known or reported defects and security alerts.
- Technical Support and Administration of MQ Series
- Administer MQ Series in a clustering environment.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in IT / Computer Science / Engineering, or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in Administer DB2 Subsystems in a DB2 data sharing environment is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
