5 working days, Mon – Fri, normal office hours

Location: North

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze trends in the global commodities markets, with a focus on specific metals, energy products, and agricultural goods
• Generate actionable insights and recommendations based on market analysis to support decision-making by traders, salespeople, and other stakeholders
• Write regular reports on key developments in the commodities markets, highlighting potential opportunities and risks
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant economic indicators and their impact on commodity prices
• Develop and maintain relationships with industry contacts to gather first-hand intelligence on market conditions
• Use statistical methods and financial modeling techniques to forecast future price movements in specific commodities
• Monitor and interpret news stories, research reports, and other information sources to identify early signals of changing market conditions
• Collaborate with other members of the research team to develop comprehensive views of the commodities markets

Requirements

• Minimum Degree/Diploma in relevant fields or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Hedge fund industry is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
