Location: North
Responsibilities
- Compare booking status against forecasts and check against vessels capacity
- Perform calculations for stability, trim, shear forces, torsion, bending moments and draft for vessels to ensure accuracy
- Monitor the allocation of vessels and lines with trade management
- Create and maintain vessel schedules for all ship routes and monitor berth availability and equipment for preventive/corrective measures
- Coordinate vessel operations in ports, communicate with ships’ masters and update tank statements to monitor vessel stability
- Coordinate with stevedores to ensure vessel plan is followed for loading and unloading cargo to assure safety, reduce costs, and maximize stowage
- Address any queries regarding stowage or operation or vessels
- Planning container vessel stowage at central level, incharge vessel schedule control and Actual Loading Data System maintenance.
Requirements
- Min Degree in marine or shipping or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of vessel schedule control and proforma is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
