Location: Central
Responsibilities
- Assist with the Group’s legal and corporate secretarial activities.
- Provide legal advice and services in support of business activities, including drafting and/or reviewing business contracts and agreements, to ensure legal compliance and provide advice and necessary recommendation in managing legal and commercial exposures.
- Assist with the corporate secretarial and regulatory compliance requirements for the unlisted and listed companies within the Group, and supporting the respective Board and Board committees in meetings and passing resolutions.
- Review and implement best practice corporate guidelines and policies with regards to legal and corporate secretarial matters and compliance.
- Assist with M&A activities, including deal structuring with regards to the legal aspect, legal due diligence, and other relevant compliance activities.
- Liaise with external professionals when necessary.
- Provide legal training to sales & project team.
- Strengthen business support and effectiveness around legal process, identify areas and work on process improvement on ongoing basis.
Requirements
- Degree in Law and above or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of the laws of Singapore and any APAC jurisdiction is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
