Responsibilities
- Provide expert legal advice on various matters, including employment, tax, export, and government regulations in the context of emerging technologies.
- Actively negotiate, draft, and review contracts and agreements related to sales, procurement, software licensing, marketing, and vendor partnerships.
- Advise business units on personal data and privacy compliance under PDPA and GDPR, conducting thorough research on relevant laws and regulations in the realm of advanced technologies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure legal compliance and risk mitigation in the context of innovative technologies.
- Represent the company in legal negotiations and proceedings as necessary, particularly in cases involving cutting-edge technologies.
- Facilitate the translation of terms and conditions and agreements in the rapidly evolving landscape of transactions.
- Keep abreast of industry developments and changes in laws and regulations related to emerging technologies, providing proactive guidance to support the company’s business objectives.
- Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance in the context of advanced technologies.
Requirements
- Master of Law degree and above or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of employment law, tax law, export regulations, and government compliance is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
