JUNIOR TRADER ($13,500-$15,500/AWS/VB)ref: TK

$15,500 + AWS + VB + allowance

5 working days, Mon – Fri, normal office hours

Location:  Central

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and supervise sales contracts details and ensue good performance of the contracts with the clients assigned to you.
• Manage contract approval with internal stakeholders and perform issuance of the contract through ‘Tezis’ (in-house software)
• Monitor, record and manage all details of the physical shipment including preparation / issuance of documentary instructions / follow up of payments / collections against shipping documents / negotiation of Letters of Credit / accruals etc.
• Ensure invoicing issuance is arranged within internal finance team in a timely manner
• Follow up and ensure timely issuance of LCs by the clients, ensure prompt cash collection and payments for demurrages
• Maintain and manage operations records, files and databases as per department requirements
• Providing support to the Commercial and Documentation team
• Provide back up to the operations / business when required

Requirements

• Minimum Degree/Diploma in relevant fields or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft excel, especially with VLOOKUP and pivot table
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
