Responsibilities
- Review testing practices of application teams, Help application teams adopt better automation engineering practices.
- Define and operationalize quality dashboards for all applications to review and monitor quality standards and drive continuous improvements.
- Design and develop automation framework and scripting for both Web and Mobile products and help teams to adopt automation first strategy. Oversee the adoption of these automation framework in different agile squads.
- Proactively identify problems, plan solutions, recommend testing & automation solutions that will meet business needs of the application teams.
- Implement testing dashboard to make testing metrics and testing activities visible across the enterprise.
- Work with the application teams to identify test data, data virtualization requirements, integrate with automation frameworks to enable continuous testing.
- Lead a group of QA engineers, facilitate the sharing of latest best practice, tools and techniques. Provide hands on training to the QA teams to help adopt automation frameworks & tools within Agile teams.
- Any other relevant ad-hoc duties.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems, or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years of work experience in software quality assurance.
- Hands on experience with designing automation frameworks for web/ mobile & desktop applications
- Excellent oral and written and interpersonal skills.
