Responsibilities
- Provide active leadership and influencing among partners, finance and suppliers to drive companywide cost initiatives in the distribution and logistics spend
- Work with customers (internal & external) and business partners to develop and implement the company priorities related to Supply Chain resilience (SCR), productivity and sustainability.
- Develop strong partner relationship management programs with clarity of objectives and outcomes
- Negotiate and maintain logistic contracts on warehousing, transportation and customs brokerage
- Build market insights to identify the trends and translate them into category strategies.
- Build and maintain Global supplier base – incl. contracting, negotiations, strategic performance management, risk management and supplier performance.
- Support in driving global dashboard with key indicators and monthly dialogues providing comprehensive updates to key partners.
- Ability to learn and grow with our organization
Requirements
- 6-8 years of Transport / Logistics sourcing/ category management experience in international/multinational companies.
- Clear understanding of procurement processes and distribution / logistics vendor landscape and knowledge of contractual terms and regulations
- Ability to effectively communicate, steer and influence across levels in the company
- Experience in negotiating complex agreements with industry leaders and Supplier Relationship Management
