Responsibilities
- Responsible to plan and execute direct material purchases timely to ensure materials availability on a global basis to meet delivery and inventory
- Works with suppliers to drive improved lead-times and quick turnarounds in delivery
- Supports executing global commodity plans and contracts
- Maintains purchasing parameter integrity in price, lead-time, order policy, via Oracle / JDE systems
- Participates with various cross functional teams to drive improvement projects performing data analytics, dashboard development, define and provide business recommendations.
Requirements
- Degree in relevant discipline, preferably in Business Administration / Supply Chain or Logistics
- Min 3 years of relevant purchasing experience of direct materials in a manufacturing environment
- Good working knowledge of MRP and proficiency with Oracle, JDE and Microsoft Office
