Location: West
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the financial reporting of both futures trading and physical trading of sugar commodities and products. Produce daily Position, P&L and attribute daily P&L to significant changes in position of certain products and/or changes in market prices.
- Enhance current controls, implement system enhancements and implement Commodity Trading Risk Management System.
- Act as primary control function; monitor trading activity to ensure it is within a specified limit.
- Monitor trade execution and operational issues, counterparty credit exposure and derivative position for risk management.
- Work with Head of Trading and senior team members to ensure that all P&L and Position movements are fully understood, reconcile how market movements and trading strategies interact. Respond to ad-hoc queries from the trading desk and other areas and provide real time support.
- Manage the daily relationship with Front Office, Operations, Accounts, Finance and IT.
- Work with various teams to develop a statement of work.
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned
Requirements
- NITEC /Degree /Diploma and above or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of accounting is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
