Location: Central
Responsibilities
- To undertake installation and commission, repair and maintenance of laboratory instruments
- To provide timely after-sales service for customers within agreed response time.
- To provide on a timely basis service quotations for repairs and/ or service contract proposals
- Maintain and submit proper and timely service documentation including service reports, installation and commissioning reports, updated instrument registry as well as keep current service spares inventory.
- Maintain and keep in good condition service tools and service spares
- Coordinate with local sub-contractors where necessary
- Actively recommend appropriate spare parts and service repairs/ upgrades or maintenance to customers with the objective of minimizing instrument down time.
- Develop and maintain good and professional rapport with customers for customer retention
Requirements
- Min Diploma / Degree in Engineering (biomedical / bioengineering / electronics /Mechanical or equivalent.)
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledgeable in computers and computer software ie Microsoft Word, Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
