Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections of equipment ensuring its functionality is maintained.
- Monitor and record operational parameter data on all utility and facility equipment such as: HVAC, Compressed air systems, BMS, and security systems etc.
- Perform Ad Hoc troubleshooting and breakdown maintenance for repair.
- Supervise vendors in their work and ensure task is performed as required
- Assist to generate work order forms to ensure timely and thorough job completion.
- Effectively manage the operation and maintenance of Utilities to reduce the likelihood of a significant disruption of utilities (i.e., HVAC – heating and cooling, electricity, water, compressed air, etc) provided to the site and assures around-the-clock responsiveness to mechanical failures or emergency situations, remaining available for on-call technical support for emergency responses.
- Support the site’s OEE targets by the provision of site services and utility availability.
- Establish schedules and methods for providing facility and utilities maintenance services; identify resource needs; review needs with appropriate management staff and allocate resources accordingly.
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in any Engineering field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Understanding of electrical control systems and PLC systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
