FACILITIES MANAGER ($5000-$7500/AWS/VB)ref: SH

$7500 + AWS + VB + allowance

5 working days, Mon – Fri, normal office hours

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Facilities team in the day-to-day running, such as building and electrical maintenance, overall security management, cleaning, landscape, and pest control operations. This is to ensure the school remain a safe, conducive, and welcoming environment.
  • Plan, monitor, and conduct regular daily/weekly/monthly/annual facility maintenance schedules in building, electrical, sanitary, safety, cleaning, pest control services etc.
  • Supervise the services provided by the contracted facility vendors/contractors (security, cleaning, landscape, pest control) and ensure that services performed are as per contract requirements.
  • Oversee the minor and major infrastructural improvements and maintenance works , including procurement, design, construction/renovations and overall project management with relevant stakeholders and contractors until the project is tested, commissioned and handed over to the school.
  • Lead the Facilities team in providing timely and prompt facility and logistics support for school activities and events, such as set-up and teardown, security access, carpark management, and cleaning.
  • Conduct and regularly review the facility maintenance and refurbishment roadmap (with a focus on preventive maintenance) for the school. This also includes ideas generation, technological or design innovations in facility management.
  • Monitor and comply with statutory license guidelines and government requirements, including but not limited to safety requirements of  buildings, electrical and gas systems, fire safety compliance, periodic structural inspections, environmental and safe work procedures.
  • Oversee the license certification or renewal processes and keep the school’s required facility-related certifications and licenses current and up-to-date.

 

Requirements

  • Degree in Building, Estate Management, Engineering (Civil, Mechanical & Electrical) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in the property management and construction environment is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
