Responsibilities
- Formulate and update the standards and lists for Imports and Exports information (Restricted, Prohibited items in importing into Singapore, exporting out of Singapore) as regulated and updated by Singapore Export Controls / Customs policies, and destination customs regulations.
- Formulate, update on a timely manner and cascade Export document requirements as aligned and updated with Singapore Custom policies.
- Providing guidance and on-time solution provision and answering export queries received from multi-channel frontline sources (ie, from Couriers, Service Point leaders, Customer Service, etc).
- Review, update and resolve the Daily Detained & Ageing list export goods and contact the customer to supplement the incomplete export information.
- Be able to advise to internal or external stakeholders the full set of export shipping documents required, and any revisions or amendments required (ie, commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, non-dg form, etc).
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders ensuring that there is a good and timely flow of information and updates.
- Apply pre-export inspection when needed; Audit exported shipments, contact customer, or liaise closely with Customer Service Team to obtain or supplement incomplete export documentation.
- Ensure compliance to customer’s standard operating procedures.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics / Supply Chain or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Familiarity with Singapore Custom Export Control is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
