Responsibilities
– Spearheading analytical team activities for the company
– Communicate with customers on surface analysis technical aspects
– Lead, manage, and motivate a group of junior engineers
– Operate analytical instruments in lab environment and conduct analysis for various customers independently
– Prepare samples in needs and ensure the quality of the work and trouble-shoot the causes when problem occurs
– Write analytical reports
– Document new failure analysis operating procedures, training and certification specs
– Participate in ISO17025 in maintaining the system
Requirements
– Bachelor or above in Material Science, Physics, analytical Chemistry or related science. Surface analysis experience and good track record are preferred
– Hands-on sample preparation experience for various analysis
– Team player with strong work ethic and able to thrive independently as well; strong problem-solving skills; has good Interpersonal skills
– Language proficiency and reporting skills; preferred with surface analysis experience (such as XPS, FTIR, AFM, TOF-SIMS, etc.).
