Responsibilities
- Read and understand technical specifications, prepare job-list, work schedule, plan material take off and manpower planning of yard men and contractor for each given jobs.
- Order the material required as per material take off and co-ordinate with purchase department for timely delivery of the materials
- During job execution, supervise and provide technical solution to electricians.
- Ensure safety, discipline and welfare for all subordinates.
- Collaborate with operation department and to ensure that trade work carries out as per specifications and to the satisfaction of the owner/class & timely completion. Ensure good quality work and perfect safety.
- Collaborate with engineering department for design and engineering requirement as and when required.
- Ensure that all trade work modification works are recorded with mark-up / red-line drawings to be made and approved by owner’s representative.
- Always maintain good housekeeping and Safety on board vessel & workshop. Ensure that all workers always follow safe work procedures
Requirements
- Minimum Degree/Diploma in relevant fields or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in marine/vessel is a plus.
- Flexible and proactive attitude.
