ELECTRICAL COMMISSIONING TECHNICIAN ($5000-$6500/AWS/VB)ref: DL

$6500 + AWS + VB + allowance

5 working days, Mon – Fri, normal office hours

Location: Central

Responsibilities

• Communicate clearly and precisely and follow oral and written instructions.
• Understand the need for and adherence to the Permit to Work and Lock-Out Tag-Out Procedures and follow safe working practices.
• Understand, interpret and work from various forms of project documentation such as the MC/PC
• Procedure, Tagging Procedure, Punchlist Procedure, As Built Procedure, Vendor Manuals etc.
• Understand, interpret and work from various forms of project drawings such as SLD’s, Wiring Diagrams, schematics etc.
• Inspect, commission, troubleshoot, repair and maintain electrical, electronic and associated control systems and power circuits, power generating equipment and switchgear.
• Inspect, commission, troubleshoot, repair and maintain emergency electrical systems such as emergency power generators, emergency switchboards and lighting.
• Commission and maintain low and medium voltage switchgear, electric motors and various electrical systems such as lighting, small power, cathodic protection and associated equipment.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or in any other relevant field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge in the function and use of various test equipment is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
