Location: Central
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the design direction, administration, management and communication co-ordination to deliver the project including developing and regulating the master programme, key documents and general process.
- Highlight any problems that threaten the successful completion of the project and thus provide alternative solution as required to maintain the project cost and programme within the agreed parameters.
- Take lead in conducting tender process of all required components, evaluate the returns (with relevant involved consultants) and provide recommendations to management for the award of contracts
- Ensure compliant to the company branding specifications and Design Guide
- Ensure compliant to the local statutory requirements and obligations. Coordinate relevant submission the respective agency. Coordinate inspection when required.
- Conduct regular check (e.g. site meetings, site walks, etc.) to inspect the progress and quality of works and reporting on the construction process to ensure that work done comply fully with all tender specifications.
- Ensure all contractors and/ or direct agents/ vendors/ specialists engaged respect safety and security policies and procedures at all the times in the conduct of their work and to ensure property is not compromised in any way.
- Monitor the cost and work closely with Quantity Surveyor to procure long lead packages to prevent delay in opening
Requirements
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Someone who is ready to get their hands dirty and understands that devil is in the details
- Prior experience in architecture, technical services, property management or other related field.
- Experience opening new business units, including restaurants, hotels, commercial properties, etc.
