DESIGN ENGINEER (Oil & Gas) ($3500-$4800/AWS/VB)ref: CK

$4800 + AWS + VB + allowance

5 working days, Mon – Fri, normal office hours

Location: CBD

Responsibilities

• Design component and assembly with CAD software. Prepare engineering drawings and engineering bill of material
• Analyse, design, develop, maintain products and assist in their commercialization
• Review technical documentation including engineering specifications, drawings, calculation packs, bill of materials, guidelines and repair procedures
• Checking and approving drawings, information and documentation which meets engineering standards to enable the manufacturing group and other departments to produce and market product
• Attend and initiate Design and Development Planning and Review session to meet customer’s and industry’s need
• Prepare reports as required by management
• Maintain proper inventory control
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Familiar with ProE/Creo, Solidworks, CATIA, NX or similar CAD and FEA/CFD program is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
