DESIGN AUTOMATION ENGINEER ($4500-$6000/AWS/VB)ref: SS

$6K + AWS + VB + allowance

5 working days, Mon – Fri, normal office hours

Location: East

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing reconfigurable robotic platforms to achieve project goal (surveillance, maintenance, or payload-carrying robot)
• Responsible for conceptual design, new product design, and improvement to existing product according to customer’s customized specifications, including designs for jigs and fixtures
• Design robotic or automated systems to meet business needs, including selection of components and sub-systems
• Perform evaluation for design solutions to propose optimised designs to customers
• Have a basic understanding of the electrical system of the robot to optimize the mechanical and electrical design
• Have a broad understanding of different manufacturing processes and manufacturing constraints
• Designing project deadlines and identify technical issues
• Simulating using CAD Solidworks for FEA analysis or Keyshot demonstration

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design engineering, or equivalent field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
•  Experience in 3D CAD , Solidworks is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
