Control and Instrument Engineer ($3K – $5K / AWS / VB) Ref: RC

Full Time Islandwide August 26, 2021 Electrical & Electronics Engineering - Engineering Manufacturing

Support the plant in meeting contractual requirements, technical specifications, commercial set-up and operations
Formulate a plan, review and analyze preventive maintenance strategies for instrumentation equipment in order to achieve safe operation, high reliability and optimized efficiency
Identify, study, propose and implement area for improvement (projects) in the field of instrumentation engineering to enhance operation and improve total equipment reliability
Prepare the scope of works and specifications
Supervise C&I work execution on site, develop procedures and instructions for either maintenance, shutdown or projects to ensure compliance to safety, specification, standard and procedures in order to achieve highest quality of the work
Provide technical advice during troubleshooting and corrective action

Job Requirements

Bachelor Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE), Instrumentation and Controller Engineering (ICE) or Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)
At least 5 years of relevant experience
Experienced in erection, commissioning and initial start-up phases of a modern power plant
Proficiency in any power plant PLC Control System
