Responsibilities
- Evaluate and analyze wastewater treatment plant equipment and treatment processes. Take responsibility for ensuring water quality compliance at the individual facility.
- Support the plant’s maintenance and safety integrity efforts by ensuring all equipment remains operational with minimal downtime and regular maintenance.
- Guarantee that the calibration and inspection schedules for specified equipment are up-to-date.
- Collaborate closely with the PSM team and the laboratory department to assess waste flow and develop waste treatment methods.
- Engage in the promotion of Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) activities among operators.
- Contribute to the optimization of operational treatment, manpower allocation, and the continuous improvement of operations.
- Verify that treated wastewater complies with sewer discharge limits.
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned
Requirements
- Degree in Chemistry and above or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience related to water treatment plant is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
