Responsibilities
- Source, negotiate prices and purchase electro-mechanical / mechanical commodities
- Issue of PO, PO conversion and PO confirmation update
- Review/ send Vendor Follow up Report and Expediting part shortages with suppliers
- Manage part lead time, NCNR, MOQ and part rejects issues
- Issue Purchase Order for Local and Overseas purchases.
- Price negotiation with Suppliers and oversee the coordination work with Suppliers, freight forwarders and others.
- Maintain current & source for new reliable supplier.
- Prepare and create Bill of Material (BOM) for products used in production.
Requirements
- Diploma in Electrical / Electronic Engineering / Supply Chain Management, GEC O/A level or ITE Electronics & Electrical Engineering
- 2 years of relevant working experience
- Experience in Oracle and Excel Spreadsheet
- Good exposure in sourcing / procurement environment (electronic components).
