BUNKER SURVEYOR ($5000-$10,000/AWS/VB)ref: WY

$10K + AWS + VB + allowance

5 working days, Mon – Fri, normal office hours

Location: West

Responsibilities

• To perform Bunker Quantity Survey (BQS) in accordance with SS600:2014/SS648:2019, detailing all aspects of on-board bunkering activities.
• To perform bunker quantity checks for the entire bunker operations as per Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for BQS and to follow-up of enforcement actions in the event of a protest.
• Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites with the final site surveying documents and findings to be presented to clients.
• Maintain an accurate, comprehensive, and timely submission of all relevant survey documentation under letterhead and ensure that the all the customer requirements are fulfilled.
• To monitor all matters pertaining to bunker operations including the coordination of bunkering activities in port and working closely with the agency department to optimise turnaround time.
• Marine surveys including, but not limited to, Bunker Quantity Surveys (BQS).
• Ensure that work activities are complying with all risk control measures and adhere to safe work procedures according to  requirements.
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned

Requirements

• Minimum Degree/Diploma in relevant fields
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in quality assurance/Quality control is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
