BIM MANAGER ($5500-$8500/AWS/VB)ref: DA

$8500 + AWS + VB + allowance

5 working days, Mon – Fri, normal office hours

Location: CBD

Responsibilities

• To plan, set up, optimize and monitor the BIM process as per the contract
• To monitor and manage the submission schedule as per the contract , To manage clashes and to coordinate with engineers to resolve the clashes
• To lead sharing and exchanging of models for collaboration with internal and external parties
• Review Client Information Requirements (EIRs) and perform the role and responsibilities of the Project Information Manager as identified in ISO 19650, CIC BIM Standards, Government department BIM standards
• Work with the appointing parties to understand the Project’s: Information Requirements; Delivery Milestones; Information Standards; Production methods and procedures; reference information and shared resources; Information Management protocol.
• Work with our Design and Bid Teams to establish the Pre-Appointment BIM Execution Plan including capability assessments and mobilization plans
• Contribute to the project risk register and tender response.
• Develop the BIM execution plan and define the Master Information Delivery Plan in collaboration with the Design and Project Management Teams.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or Building Services, Architectural / Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• experience in construction design, drafting, BIM modelling, BIM model management and/or coordination (services) is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
