Responsibilities
- Analyze existing software and identify areas for modification and improvement
- Work with a team of engineers to develop systems for automation industrial applications
- Design and development of Software applications on embedded, PC, and PAC
- Perform System Independent Design of Control Systems: Conceptualize and detail design
- Develops circuitry/component drawings in accordance with applicable standards
- System Implementation, Testing, Debugging and Documentation
- Software Design, Development and Maintenance (PC Programming)
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering
- Min. 2 years work experience in software development in the automation industry
- Working knowledge of programming tools such as Beckhoff TwinCAT and/or Microchip controller
- Knowledge in embedded and Windows-based programming languages, such as C++, C#.net is a plus
- Experience in C programming
- Experience in motion control and process control
- Experience in Vision System software development is an advantage
- Knowledge in SECS/GEM standards and implementation is preferred
