Location: West
Responsibilities
- Lead in-house automation projects on layout, build, troubleshoot, repair and modify developmental and production equipment
- Design, implement and test automated machines, programs, jig and fixtures to required job specification in an efficient and cost-effective manner
- Troubleshoot hardware, software and interface problems, maintaining the system to ensure full functionality and reliability
- Setting up of new machines, transferring of equipment from customers and integration to existing line
- Supervise installation crews and support the installation work
- Project mangement on cost, quality, scope and schedule to ensure on time delivery on the project within budget
- Participate in design reviews and documentation, update management on work progress
- Keep abreast of latest developments in industrial automation technology and introduce them to plant wide operations to achieve cost saving and improve productivity
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma qualification in relevant fields or equivalent.
- 3 years in building custom automation experience
- Knowledge with AutoCad, solidwork or UG is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
