Location: North
Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring efficient and safe daily technical operations of the Oil Tanker fleet.
- Oversee repairs and maintenance of vessels; implementation of Planned Maintenance System. Daily monitoring of PMS critical and overdue jobs.
- Planning and coordination for inspection and dry-docking of vessels.
- Procurement and logistics of ship’s spares and stores and responsible for budgeting and cost control whilst ensuring compliance with industry, Class and International regulations.
- Monitor the quality of all service providers.
- To maintain up to date ISM / ISPS audit records.
- Follow up on the performance of the vessels and arrange corrective actions to be carried out when necessary.
- Liaising with the Owners, Flag State and Port State controls.
Requirements
- Diploma in relevant fields or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience on oil tankers is a plus.
- Flexible and proactive attitude.
