ASSISTANT SITE MANAGER (Electrical) ($4000-$7500/AWS/VB)ref: JE

$7500 + AWS + VB + allowance

5 working days, Mon – Fri, normal office hours

Location:  West

Responsibilities

• Supervising and overseeing the direction of the project, ensuring that the client’s specifications and requirements are met, reviewing progress and liaising with quantity surveyors to monitor costs
• Comprehends contractual conditions and specifications for commercial and technical cost savings.
• Responsible for implementing client requirements.
• Responsible for general on-site technical and engineering matters.
• Liaise with Sub-Contractors & Consultants, Client and other construction professionals and, sometimes, members of the public.
• Ensure accurate information is made available at all times to facilitate effective decision-making. Identifies problem areas, evaluates and initiates corrective action.
• checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings (3D walkthrough with clients/consultant)
• Monitor project performance, maintaining quality control procedures and budget. Initiates corrective action where appropriate to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Requirements

• Min Diploma in Electrical Engineering / construction / oil and gas.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Familiar with the Oil and Gas QA/QC system to support safe and flawless start-up of facilities is a plus.
• Teamwork and good interpersonal skills.
