ASSISTANT MECHANICAL ENGINEER ($2800-$4000/AWS/VB)ref: KY

$4K + AWS + VB + allowance

5 working days, Mon – Fri, normal office hours

Location:  CBD

Responsibilities

• Ensure corrective repairs and preventive maintenance of machineries and equipment are done efficiently according to manufacturer specifications
• Compile all corrective repairs summary reports, costings and man hours to update management on monthly basis
• Follow up on status of spare parts with warehouse to ensure timely completion of corrective repairs of machineries and equipment
• Conduct site visits and compile pictures for reporting to management to ensure machineries and equipment are being used and maintained correctly on site
• Coordinate and liaise with Logistics Engineer on machineries and equipment movement in and out of workshop
• Monitor and review performance of mechanics, mobile mechanics and staff
• Liaise, deal and follow up on corrective repairs with external workshop
• Ensure proper and timely clearance of external corrective repairs billings with purchasing and finance department

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Good knowledge of heavy machinery and vehicles is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
