ASSISTANT MANAGER (SUPPLIER QUALITY) ($4000-$5000/AWS/VB)ref: BS

$5K + AWS + VB + allowance

5 working days, Mon – Fri, normal office hours

Location: West

Responsibilities

• Maintain a supplier performance database
• Facilitate root cause analysis and verification of corrective actions of supplier quality issues including the effective closure of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) request to suppliers.
• Promote the use of preferred techniques for continuous improvement such as Lean, Six-Sigma, Poka-Yoke (Error Proofing) and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA)
• Lead or participate in supplier quality audits in accordance with the QMS and audit schedule
• Support the supplier approval process including pre-audit / supplier evaluations where required
• Provide production control and monitoring input in the development of work instructions and process control chart for new projects.
• Provide support for logistics, supply chain, sourcing and ERP as required, to ensure supplier chain continuity and ABM’s product development process.
• Communicate with vendors regularly to address any concerns and foster an environment that facilitates continual improvement in working relationships.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of measurement techniques, metrology, Inspection Methods and Equipment is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
