ASSISTANT MANAGER, ACCOUNTING(Regulatory Reporting) ($6000-$7500/AWS/VB)ref: MJT  

$7500 + AWS + VB + allowance

5 working days, Mon – Fri, normal office hours

Location: Central

Responsibilities

• To prepare and review MAS regulatory returns, mainly preparation of revised MAS 610 and daily compliance ratios.
• To prepare routine head office reports, for consolidation and submission to Taiwan regulatory authorities.
• Attend to any ad-hoc requests from businesses, management or regulators.
• Support other accounting operations such as journal input, system operations and month-end closing process.
• Reviewer for accounts payable process including payments and journal entries.
• Monitor and update accounting team on changes in Financial Reporting Standards, Banking Act, Company Act and MAS regulations etc.
• To update accounting policies and procedure manuals.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors and to prepare audit schedules as well as financial statements disclosure items.

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy or possess ACCA or equivalent qualification.
• 5 to 8 years of relevant experience with at least 4 years in MAS regulatory reporting, revised MAS 610 is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft office applications and able to add value to improve work process.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
