ASSISTANT AUDIT MANAGER ($3500-$4500/AWS/VB)ref: JA

$4500 + AWS + VB + allowance

5 working days, Mon – Fri, normal office hours

Location:  Central

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform internal audits to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls in addressing financial, operational and compliance risks.
• Write comprehensive audit reports for issuance to the Audit & Risk Committee, Senior Management and Line Management.
• Supervise/review the work of junior team members to ensure the quality of audit work and deliverables, including adherence to the relevant professional standards.
• Coordinate and provide assistance to co-sourced audits when required.
• Good working knowledge and ability to incorporate use of data analytics methodology in audit assignments via Tableau, Power BI, Excel or other equivalent data analytics software (e.g. IDEA, ACL, etc) where applicable.
• Perform audit assurance duties
• Prepare financial statements
• Assist in special projects, ad-hoc assignments and investigations when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in MS Word/Excel/Powerpoint
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
