Location: Central
- Manage full sets of accounts, financial audit, income tax return and statistics submissions
- Responsible for the timely and accurate month end and year end close for the Management accounts, ensuring that the financial statements are properly supported, debtors and creditors reconciliation
- Issues import and export letters of credit and accepts payments: Notifies exporters and importers of issuance of letters of credit covering shipment of merchandise.
- Reviews letter of credit documents to determine compliance with established standards.
- Verifies terms of credit, such as amount and shipping conditions to determine compliance with established standards.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
- Process intercompany billings and verify that transactions comply with Company policies and procedures and are approved by appropriate personnel
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in accountancy/LCCI or similar accounting qualification
- Minimum 2 years of full sets accounting experience, preferably from shipping industry
- Experience in LC (letters of credit) matters
- Proficient Microsoft office skills, prior experience with using Navision/business central is a distinct advantage
