Responsibilities
- Responsible for the timely and accurate month end and year end close for the Management accounts, ensuring that the financial statements are properly supported, debtors and creditors reconciliation
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
- Process intercompany billings
- Verify that transactions comply with Company policies and procedures and are approved by appropriate personnel
- Checking and preparation of payment vouchers, petty cash, staff expenses and claims
- Quarterly gst preparation
- Manage full sets of accounts, financial audit, income tax return and statistics submissions
- Provide admin support and assist in corporate secretarial matters
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in accountancy/LCCI or similar accounting qualification
- Minimum 3 years of full sets accounting experience, preferably from shipping industry
- Independent worker as well as a good team player, able to work in a fast paced environment
- Effective communication skills
- Proficient Microsoft office skills, prior experience with using Navision is a distinct advantage
