Responsibilities
- Responsible to ensure smooth project implementation mostly in a telecommunication and datacentre environment
- In charge of installation, commissioning and testing of transmission and dwdm systems
- Occasional after hours work involved for project/ maintenance support
- To handle and troubleshooting fault tickets and arranging RMA and perform software/ firmware updates on systems
- To perform software/ firmware updates on systems
- Adhoc on site troubleshooting on site for maintenance support when require
Requirement:
- Nitec/ Diploma in engineering, telecommunications discipline or equivalent
- Min 1 -2 years experience as presales role
- Knowledge in Fiber optics transmission systems ie. fiber optics transmission systems (eg OTN, DWDM), Ethernet, IP, Fiber Channel), test equipment (eg OSA, OTDR, optical power meters), systems Integration (eg SNMP, SMTP, NTP)
- No experience is welcomed to apply
- Organized, self-motivated, enthusiastic and proven rapid learning capability
